The construction begins after the structure is delivered to the work site. In order to protect all the building parts from the weather, the customer should instead, make sure that an adequate amount of covering is in place over the pre-engineered framing pieces. Primer and protective coatings are already on the pre-engineered pieces when they arrive at the job site. Just because these building pieces have protective coatings does not mean that they are impervious to the harmful effects of adverse weather conditions. In other words, even if the pieces are left out in the open for only a few weeks
