Did you know that the largest percentage of the both one and two story business and commercial sector presently in the United States of America is comprised by steel buildings? This has recently been reported by the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA). In fact, steel has acquired a greater amount of industry share in not just the well-established beige warehousing category, but also in state-of-the-art office complexes, expansive airplane manufacturing facilities, and modern retail shopping malls. Indeed, a larger amount of organizations in the private economic sector are departing from common construction designs in lieu of the cost savings of steel. As you can see, there are a number of applications of steel buildings over other alternative forms of construction. With each of these various applications are a number of different advantages. Over the next week we will look at just some of the advantages a steel building system has to offer.
