The first tip we’d like to offer goes against the conventional wisdom of buying cheap. To the contrary, when you do buy cheap, you get what you pay for. The amount you think you are saving will actually be trumped by the emerging costs of maintenance. It’s worth spending the extra money to have the quality you need, as well as receiving all the features you want. If you plan to be in the building for a long time (or lease it out to tenants) then you will want the building to stay in good condition.
