When a steel building only exists on paper the developers are able to consult with the architects to design a building that will provide all the adequate space for their organization. If, for example, an open-span framing system is used then there is the potential to have as much as 300 feet of unobstructed floor space. Such an open area provides choice in its versatility. In other words, because there are no supporting columns with an open-span framing system you are free to choose how that space is used and free to re-configure it whenever necessary.
