Modern pre-engineered steel buildings have numerous advantages when compared to other means of construction. For example, one advantage is the simplicity of the construction process (from a logistical standpoint). In other words, most steel buildings can be purchased from a single vendor. As a result, you have the benefit of needing just one supplier, one broker, and one contract manufacturer to be responsible for the whole layout, fabrication and shipping. Separate sources for the various accessories and components are unnecessary. Because of this streamlined process, the General Contactor or building purchaser has no cause to worry about any construction delays due to incomplete or delayed shipments of vital accessories and components. When using a single-source vendor, you have only one person to contact should anything go wrong. But, what about the cost of a steel building? Does such efficiency come at a higher price than traditional construction? Stay tuned …
