Be Careful with Whom You Contract (cont. from Sun.)

In addition to picking a competent erector, it is smart to be sure there is a project superintendent who will oversee the work. As a part of his work responsibilities he will talk back and forth on a daily basis with each and every member of the crew.  The lowest bidder isn’t necessarily the wisest decision you can make. At times the lowest bidder is the one that ends up doing terrible workmanship. A conspicuously low bid might not budget for every necessary part of the job. If work is left incomplete, you may encounter long, unexpected delays as well as additional expenses to complete the job. Thus, the erector with the lowest bid can very easily become the most expensive one.
