Building Codes and Drawings (continued from yesterday)

Think twice before you buy. Many steel building manufacturers or suppliers will advertise the basic requirements for coding and represent them as sufficient to any and every permitting process. This might leave you with a structure that will not be approved for erection. Here’s an important fact worth highlighting. Just because a manufacturer has designated one of its products as having met code does not mean that the building will necessarily meet ALL of the building codes for your particular area. There are basic codes that a manufacturer may meet at a minimum level. However, you want more than that.
