In response to the tragic theater shooting, General Steel Corporation will donate 5% of the proceeds generated by any steel building sale until August 31, 2012 to the Aurora Victim Relief Fund.
About the Fund:
The Community First Foundation, has established the Aurora Victim Relief Fund in partnership with Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. This fund will only be used to meet the immediate and long-term needs of victims and their families and, as funds are available, the broad needs of those affected in the community.
Being located in Littleton, CO near Columbine High School, we are no stranger to tragedy and the resulting hardship faced by the members of our community. Our corporate culture leads us to take action when our neighbors are in need. Therefore, until August 31, 2012 5% of the proceeds from any building sale will go directly to supporting our neighbors in Aurora, CO through the Aurora Victim Relief Fund.
